One of the things I enjoy most about living in Wisconsin is the absolute, sheer passion most people have for the Packers. Almost every other person, it seems, wears nothing but Packer paraphernalia! There are no halfway fans here - either people grew up in Wisconsin and they love the Packers (not just the men, either!) or they grew up somewhere else and loathe those who love. This is dichotomy.
We're in some discussion at church about switching the times of the services - there's a bit of a log jam between Sunday School and church, with people leaving the sanctuary from the class to get coffee and visit the restroom, and those entering to find early seats. But one thing is sure... admitted by my pastor readily and early! If we're to push the hour and 20 minute service back to starting near 10:30, attendance will drop drastically in the fall.
Might miss kick-off!
